Define the work students will do
List the activities the lab must support: whole-class instruction, small-group planning, simulation, and discussion. Think about what happens at the same time. A room with impressive equipment can still be difficult to teach in if students have nowhere to prepare or review.
Design for access and supervision
Sketch furniture, doors, teaching sightlines, circulation, and power access. Check full equipment dimensions and room around the operator. Review accessibility and local facility requirements with your school’s responsible staff before finalizing the plan.
Plan ownership after launch
Name the people responsible for scheduling, teacher preparation, equipment support, and curriculum coordination. Include recurring costs and support arrangements in the proposal. A small, consistently used setup may be a more useful starting point than equipment with no clear instructional owner.
