An aviation mission depends on more than a pilot. Maintenance, dispatch, weather analysis, air traffic services, and software all contribute. Use a classroom scenario to ask which people and skills are involved and how their decisions affect one another.
Connect activities to program goals
A simulator can support career awareness and applied STEM tasks. Work with your CTE lead to decide how activities fit the existing course sequence, facilities, and local program requirements. Request curriculum and equipment information before making claims about credit or pathway approval.
Keep exploration distinct from credentials
These activities introduce career interests and technical concepts. They do not, by themselves, confer a pilot certificate, maintenance qualification, or employment placement. Discuss any formal training pathway with the appropriate education and aviation providers.
Prepare your implementation
Tell STEMPilot about your student ages, group size, available room, and session length. Request a proposal covering the appropriate simulator, curriculum, professional development, and support. Decide how students will participate away from the controls as part of the same lesson.
