Lead with your students
Describe the learners and the opportunity the program is intended to address. Use evidence your school can substantiate. Avoid broad claims that a product will improve scores, attendance, or career outcomes unless the proposal has appropriate evidence for those claims.
Explain the activity and the support
Describe how teachers will introduce a concept, how Flight Crews will plan and test a mission, and how students will reflect. Include teacher preparation, equipment access, scheduling, and ongoing responsibility. This shows how the purchase becomes instruction.
Choose evidence you can actually collect
Examples include student work samples, mission plans, explanations, teacher reflections, and equipment-use records. Set a realistic collection schedule and describe how the school will use findings to improve the program. Adapt every statement to the funder’s current application requirements.
